What is the difference between these? I used to see the EVDO on my BB and now it says 1X. I recently changed my number, could this have something to do with it? My BB seems slower too.
EVDO is faster than 1X, there are some areas where coverage is not as good or where EVDO coverage is just not available. Those are the places where you most likly get 1X.
Try re-provisioning, if not... call your service provider and check with their tech support.
Give the carrier and call and have them take care of it. They might make you go through a power cycle first so you can try that on your own. If you have EVDO coverage in your area it'll likely self-heal itself within hours.
