Yes you can go to sms>menu>delete prior. You can keep certain dates if you want or just delete them all.

on the Bold, you can highlight all by holding shift and scroll with the trackball. but i dunno about the storm.

the storm and the curve can be deleted the same way
go to the envelope and go to options and and go to general options and scroll to the bottom and keep the messages for a lesser time

Yes you can go to sms>menu>delete prior. You can use the trackball to hover over the dates in case there are some you wanna keep.

Works a little different on the Storm. From the SMS/MMS folder, select the a date, press BB, select delete prior, OR to delete a range touch the top and bottom message to select all the messages in that range, then click the delete icon (envelope with X) or press BB, and select delete messages.
