Sooo coming from the iPhone I was a heavy emoji user like most. But using the Blackberry as time went along I started becoming anti-emoji. My text became better, my tweets more precise lol. Now I can happily say I'm emoji free! However the only time I have withdrawals is when an iPhone user text me and I get the boxes. What's your take on emojis? Do you use the stocked blackberry emojis? None? Copy & paste? App?

I copy a few I use frequently like the crying laughing face, the googly eyes and thumbs up and put them into my custom dictionary on my Passport.

I like emojis, but in actuality I use them few and far between whether I'm on my iPad or using the emojis in the Blaq app for Twitter.

If you turn on special characters it will show some emojis.

I enjoy using them in group bbm chat. You can actually use the word substitution function and create emojis shortcuts for typing BBMs. It saves time by not having to go into different screens.

Didn't know the custom dictionary substitution could work on emojis too. Pretty cool.
