Some email servers play nicer with BB servers than others. i.e. my gmail is pretty much instant and sometimes gets pushed to my berry before it shows up in my inbox. If oyu are having issues you can always log into your BIS and resend the service books then do a pull and see if that helps. There are plenty of threads here that discuss this so just use the search function and check them out.
Also you guys may want to read the BB101 Lecture Series. It is a wealth of information and explains all things BB
