I recently purchased a Curve 8330. I downloaded the e-Mobile Today software soon after, to use their organizer functions. Soon after I completed the purchase, I began receiving constant emails that started with //Brew: and a series of numbers. Nothing intelligible. I know nothing about cell phones (as I'm sure it shows). Can someone tell me what the source of these emails might be? I assume it was something to do with the software purchase. I bought the software through this Crackberry sight. In making the order, I had to give the phones PIN. Does this have something to do with the emails?
If you Google the exact string of numbers you get, you may find the exact source of your problem. The solution is generally to call your carrier and have whatever service it is, disabled.
