If I delete an e-mail account from my blackberry would I lose my received emails or will they be kept in messages? One of my accounts no longer works and I would like to delete it and reinstall it back later...
So I'm wondering what's gonna happen.

I have deleted and reinstalled a BIS account and the old messages stayed there, but the elapsed time was only minutes and I had not removed from the server by downloading to my PC. Not sure about what would happen in other situations.
However, if you resend service books, all the messages are reset and the account starts over with new messages from that point forward only.
