Why not just go with the Curve 8320?

Not dumb at all. I loved my 8700. Dropped it a few times and it only had minor bruises. Its a really stable device and the keys felt so much better. Why did I get a Curve you ask? Because I wanted a camera and a media player. But Ive never had an issue with it.

I agree with going with the Curve. The 8700 will need too many updates done to it.
