Mine does only on certain apps but nothing else. Not on Facebook for example. Definitely not on the main hub page. iPhone landscapes every which way so what's up with this?

My hub does landscape. Facebook images does but not video. The fb app clearly isn't complete. It looks like they built it enough to have it functional for now and moved onto something else. It's the same story with the twitter app.

I suspect that future updates will bring the functionality that's missing.

Mine doesn't landscape for BBM, Facebook, or maps (actually maps is crap all around) but CB10 works fine.

I find most apps on my iphone have a set orientation. Browser doesn't.

Home screen on iphone definitely doesn't have landscape, but I'm pretty sure Ipad does which is odd. Its annoying when I can't do landscape typing since thats what I prefer.

The Hub has landscape orientation.

Beyond that, it is dependent of the developer as to if their app can go landscape.

Isn't it a little odd that hub has landscape but the main screen with all the functions, apps etc doesn't? And don't you think Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn should landscape? Typing is much easier in landscape mode.

I agree, those key apps should allow you to do landscape, I don't care about the home screen doing landscape... Didn't my storm 1 do that!? If I recall it did and it was annoying cause when I pulled it out of my pocket i had to fiddle with it to get it in portrait. That's been years ago tho. FYI, I type far quicker in portrait because I solely use it and my thumbs know where to go.

You have a point. My torch went into landscape too easily so maybe this why the 10 doesn't landscape on the main page. But Facebook should for sure. Speaking of which I took a landscape photo and posted it to FB and it came out sideways. The only way to correct it was on my pc. On my phone app it still shows on its side but on my pc its correct.

Landscape is hit or miss on iOS, too. The iPhone Facebook app, and Twitter, and too many others to count, definitely do not support landscape mode.

I enable rotation lock. I dont like landscape
this "rotation lock" is one feature that I've looked over anywhere for my 9860 before.

I personally think there's need for all. I would like to have Facebook in landscape mode while in the contrary twitter looks well in portrait to me!

With landscape, I have an issue.

It works with picture or the hub, but sometimes it is impossible for me to landsacape wtih picturess, the hub, the calculator, etc.

Does anymone meet this issue ? I must restart a lot of times the Z10 to retrieve this function.

The Hub on my Z10 landscapes just fine, and so does calculator, pictures and such. I just checked. I have no issues with landscape on my device.

Just went and played with one at the VZ store. First thing I noticed was that it did not landscape on the home screen. I personally don't like this. I hope that by the time my current contract runs out (May) they'll fix that.

I used to use landcape on my curve and storms quite a bit. However with the Z10's larger screen portrait works well. in fact I find typeing in landscape almost akward now. For the most part I only use the browser in landscape.
