Agreed. I cannot imagine the torture to my eyes if I attempted to write a report on my BlackBerry Z10. On the other hand, my BlackBerry PlayBook with Bluetooth Mini-Keyboard is a viable replacement for a notebook computer...or at least was until application development ceased.

There is no reason BlackBerry could not simply provide the BlackBerry OS 10 libraries running on BlackBerry Tablet OS 2 for the BlackBerry PlayBook. If they can support Google Android via the BlackBerry Android Player why cannot the libraries for BlackBerry OS 10 not be integrated into BlackBerry Tablet OS in a similar way preferably natively rather than a BlackBerry OS 10 Player though. The memory hog of BlackBerry OS 10 is the BlackBerry Android Player and the BlackBerry Hub, neither of which is necessary on the BlackBerry PlayBook.

Don't kid youself. The Android Player is vital

Yep, the 7-inch screen of the BlackBerry PlayBook is the smallest screen size my eyes can comfortably read a PDF for more than a few minutes.
