Due to the fact that they are likely puttin bb10 on EOL and running Android on the slider. I am thinking this was the last in house blackberry development phone and they had to rush it out and sell as many as they can before everyone knows they are buying essentially unsupported devices (except for security hot fixes)

Hmm it's not exactly what I meant, by looking of the native road map no new SDK I think for now bb10 is stagnant
