it seems to me that the current court case google vs oracle over java especially if ruled in favor of oracle might have a huge impact on the smart phone market. it could actually be hugely positive for rim as android phones would have to cost more to pay for oracle significant royalities. compnies like samsung might take a second hard look at os10 to licence. I think google will loose it in court. it is obvious to me that oracle owns rights to java and google just ignored it to save money and make android phones cheap.
