Default Do you tether your BlackBerry?

Just wondering- does anyone tether anymore?

I first got TetherBerry a few years ago and I've LOVED it ever since!

I like to tether when traveling, out of wifi area and of course at home because I don't have wifi or Internet access other than Tether.

I love a good tether, it saves me what...$40 a month?

It's surprisingly fast using an old 9650 too! I plug it in, sit the BlackBerry where you see it and off I go.

I only tether with the program you mentioned which is now called just Tether. For the PB I just use bridging.

I just started as my new plan with my 9900 includes it. It goes well with the playbook.

I just bridge it seems easier even though it tends to eat a lot of battery power. I tethered a couple of times but that was when my carrier at the time wanted me to pay to bridge. Since leaving that carrier I now bridge for free with Sprint and no longer need to tether. Sorry having a senior moment that is why it took multiple sentences to answer a yes or no question.

I use hotspot from my 9900 unless I specifically need a Bridge feature.

Since I'm on AT&T and the tethering would cost me an extra data plan, I use the bridge..

Is the hotspot free? I know my carrier charges for that. That's why I tether still. Though I do use bridge to PlayBook.

But with my Dell, free tether and I like it connected by USB so my Berry charges.

Tether (formerly TetherBerry) used to be hot. Not used as often anymore I suppose.

I know it is for VZW. I thought UK carriers included tethering.

I tether when I am not home. With my PlayBook I bridge.

I tether with my phone if my internet at home goes down, but that rarely happens. Most of the time, I use tethering if I'm away with my laptop.

I use both my wifi hotspot with my laptop, but sometimes still need Tether on occasion as well.
