    Just to add to this a bit more, that green inidicator light can really lighten up a dark room. Even when you're trying to fall asleep with your eyes closed.

    Service indicator? Heck I have my bluetooh indicator off. I have enough red flashed thru the day to fill my indicator wants

    I leave mine off... If I see red flashing I know I missed a call or received a message. Other than that I know I haven't missed anything

    Used to have it on, but it has started to irritate me recently when I'm looking at the screen and have this bright green light flashing at me. It wasnt so bad on my 8310 curve as it's situated more near the top. But on the 8900 it's literally on the front face so blinking right in my face!

    IMO It does come in handy though, I have really bad reception in my house so when i'm surfing the web on the phone it usually a quick indicator to why my pages arent loading.

    Is there a way to set the duration of a led notification?
