Every store got different quantities. Depends on the size and traffic.
my guess would be around 50,000 phones so far?
no official numbers. have to wait for BB to gives us some
Not yet but I know it's more than one
blackberry or kevin said "best first day sale ever"so I guess if we know the previous record we will know at least how many devices they sold...
The number must be pretty good if it beat previous releases by so much.
does someone knows the previous record ?

I think Canada did 60,000+. I think at most it is 120,000.
I think the UK did about twice that since the population is about 2x larger. One source said that the UK was said to have sold "several hundred thousand" at launch.
If I were a gambling man, I'd say that over 200,000 sold in the UK and Canada combined. I'd peg it somewhere around 250,000.
Can't wait to see what happens in India with the Z10.
i like the 250k guess, its not a bad number at all from what we have read
The answer is obvious.

UAE this weekend..then US nex month..+ coporate orders..they buy bulk..
I think 200,000 (so far) is a reasonable guess for Canada+UK (combined).
A lot of folks I know have said that they like to wait a month or so to see if there are any major hardware bugs (like Apple's antenna-gate) or software issues (like Apple's audio streaming bug that caused massive data usage). Usually, there is also a software bug-fix/patch released within a month too. So, I think, in a month from now, we will see another wave of activations and purchases.
yup. I would say somewhere around that.
too bad BB cant ship more out, they would sell just as fast
UK has double the population of Canada...didn't know that. WTH are you Canadians doing with so much land...let Indians come over, we have overcrowding here :p.
The Z10 is already available in the Indian grey market. Asked a dealer and he said he could give it to me in one hour. Its selling for Rs.75,000.00, that's around US$1500.00. I'm not paying that much. Would rather wait till 24th of Feb and get it for $800 with warranty.
I'm liking the 250k number. Would be great to see or more. I'm sure blackberry wasn't expecting that but no one really was. Just hoping.
I agree with 200k to 250k estimate. Also, i read somewhere that blackberry gets +$.02 in eps for every 100,000 Z10 handsets sold.
It looks like they can reach 1.5M handsets sold by the quarter report on march giving them $.25 eps. Thats not bad. Then they release Z10 to USA and other countries on march plus Naples gets released creating more demand for quarter ending in June. I say bbry will reach $30 by summer.
Im hoping naples is a low end phone for countries like india, indonesia, philippines
*i meant to say $.30 eps* in comment above
I really hope the number is higher. I hope the enterprise side is picking up LOTS of units. I am curious to know how quickly Z10 surpasses the PB in units.
I don't think we can count on enterprise sales. A lot of companies are switching to BYOD (Bring Your Own Device).
As significant as BYOD is, trust me, it's not the norm in Enterprise yet. BB still holds something over 80% of that market.
50,000 maybe?
One less than they should have. Hoping to get one from Koodo soon. :waiting: :coffee:
You don't want to live where we have plenty of free land unless you bring your parkas ...
With a full global distribution? good chance by end of May ...
