I've had the Z10 since it came out in February.. wasn't patient enough to wait for the Q10. I really like the Z10, 2 favorite features was the hub and predictive text.. but I bought another phone..

This phone being the Q10 and it is absolutely amazing! I think BB10 was optimized for this phone.. either way.. really happy with the Q. It's crazy smooth!!! And the keyboard is a joy to type off.. slightly better then the 9900. If any of you BlackBerry users are still undecided.. from someone whose owned both.. Q10 all the way!

OP I am glad that the Q10 worked out for you. I also got the Z10 in February and the original intention was to keep it until the Q10 came out. But I ended up preferring the Z10 and kept it.

Have both devices there is some differences between the two but also there are a lot of similarities. I got rid or the Z10 then picked up the Q10 and so far IMO the Q is a more productive device to use. I love the physical keyboard for one and the ease of navigation is outstanding!
There really is no way to compare a full touch screen to a physical keyboard device they are so different to use.

100% agree.. I'm not crazy about touch screens but was pretty satisfied with the Z10. The keyboard on Q is a beauty. BlackBerry hit it out of the park with this phone

    Lol light saber.

The Q10 is so addicting to type on. I find reasons every 5 seconds to be on it. The Crackberry addiction is back lol.

I tried out the Q10 at the store and I just can't see myself giving up the screen real estate.

    Enjoy your device.

I stand with qbnkelt on this one. Coming from the 9810 to the Z10 is like going from a queen bed to a king...talk about real estate! To go from the 9810 to the Q10 is basically keeping the same screen size. And in answer to h20work, in this case, size does matter.

Haha for sure... but the 3.1 inch display is optimized for this phone.. as I'm scrolling down the bar at the bottom of every screen disappears so it feels even bigger. Love the keyboard shortcuts.. if I'm trying to read something off a website, I just press the "R" button and it turns into reader mode. So many pros and cons with both.. that's why I have both of them lol

I keep hearing a lot of people upgrading from the Z10 to the Q10.. Personally I keep going from one to the other in my head and I don't know what to get. On the one side, I currently have a Galaxy Nexus and love the full touch-screen (Minus a few qualms I have with touchscreen keyboards) and the Z10 is apparently the King of touch keyboards... It would also make side-loading Android apps easier because of the similar screen size. On the other side, I had a Bold 9900 and absolutely loved it for the physical keyboard and the complete efficiency it gave me in handling communications...

I hear you.. if you appreciate a great physical keyboard, it's a no brainer, you gotta go with the Q. I mean it does everything else, just with a slightly smaller screen..

My wife has a 9930. She was not too excited about the Z when she first saw It, because she did not like the idea of the virtual keyboard, but she has held the Q now, navigated through it, and she is a Z girl all the way. I know it's just a matter of taste, but there seem to be plenty of people who just fall in love with the predictive text and large screen, and don't care for the Q.

Also, a BlackBerry Tech told me the Z will get the keyboard shortcuts in 10.2, so we'll all have those soon enough.

Personally, I was always a die hard physical keyboard fan. However, when I started using the Z10 I was blown away by the keyboard. The ease of use, the predictive text...everything about it really won me over.
