when dealing with asurian, what is the difference between lost and stolen?

you pay the same deductible either way so why do they require a police report if you say it was stolen?

lost means you don't know where it is.
Stolen means you have reason to believe that someone took it and may try to use it.

Insurance company most USA wireless carriers use for replacement handsets.

lost means you don't know where it is.
Stolen means you have reason to believe that someone took it and may try to use it.
Lost phones are just as likely to be used as stolen phones.

Most cops I know won't even bother to take a police report on a stolen phone. It's a waste of time.

When you lost your phone, its not stolen.(it could still be at the last place u used it) But when ur phone is stolen its still lost. (U can go back to the place u last use it, but it wont be there)

Actually, when it's stolen, someone physically took it from you. When it's lost, you forgot where you put it.
