[Captain Backfire]

Hi guys,

I'm a novice BlackBerry user from Denmark, and I hope you can answer my question.

I've set my 8900 up so pressing "c" takes me directly to compose sms.

My problem is this: I press c which takes me to compose, and when selecting some of my contacts I am asked if I want to call them. So for some reason i can't text them - at least not in this manner. Other contacts work fine.

What can the difference be between these contacts that creates this problem?

Make sure their numbers are set as Cell phone numbers and not as Home or Work numbers...that could be the issue right there
