I was just going to post this.

I had looked it up on the Play Store and it was there. When clicked on the link, I got a Play Store error page. I re-searched "BBM" "Blackberry" "Blackberry messenger", and even searched "BlackBerry Limited"; nothing for BBM came up.

I wonder what happened.

I am getting the same here. Tried going to bbm.com on wifes Samsung g3. No go. Then tried play store. Has the real bbm but when you click it. I get error item not found.

It's back now. The fake one is gone. I wonder if it was an honest mistake that they deleted the real BBM instead of the fake.

I'm pretty sure it had to be Google Play.

It's up and running again, which means it was only gone for about 10-15 mins. I don't believe a dev can remove and re-add an app that quickly...
