The blackberry he has is a modified version with better encryption. The upgrades were done by General Dynamics. I know this because I work at GD.

Trust me, he will not be getting a BB10 anytime soon if ever. maybe once he leaves office.

I saw a documentary on him and they mentioned his phone. Apparently it is only used for email. No calls,texts,bbm's.

The General Dynamics phone is a Sectera Edge. It is approved for communications up to top secret.

I have NEVER seen any documentation of GD modding a BB.

Obama uses a BB 9930.

Sensitive information of to secret level is not sent on a BB.

Since I'm the one who made the last political comment here, I'll take responsibility for my post. I usually stay out of political debates on the internet, but this thread made me react.

I too believe a thread about a politician using a BB is not a place to discuss his/her politics, so I will try to stay off political commentary and just report posts in the future.
