I thought I would share my device switch exp. with others. First off I have the Pearl and had a broken key so had tmo replace it. Getting the email and software over to my new BB wasn't to hard but I did notice that the Premium version of docs to go got downgraded when I had already upgraded to the 30 day demo on my new device before the switch. not a totally big deal but looks like I need to get the 30 day trial again.
I also upgraded from 4.2 to 4.5.0.69 before I did anything with the new phone. when I did the first attempt I forget about the vendor file and got the 507 error but was able with crackberry forum help get the 4.5 into the BB and up and running in now time and notice it had some folders in the media that I didn't before on the old BB but I didn't get a clean install on the old one. Everything seems to be working fine, got my e-mail transferred over and will have all my software over real soon and will start testing it.
