I currently own a Z10 with 10.2 installed and have a few questions about device memory other data. My other data has gone up from 5.0 GB to 5.3 GB in the last week. I have not installed all new applications or stored anything new on my device.

1. What exactly is other data?
2. Why would it go up that much in the last week?
3. Will a security wipe bring that number down?
4. Are there any applications currently available to clean other data?

Any help will be greatly appreciated Thanks!

Long story short: It's all your cache+apps+settings+app settings+whatever the OS doesn't know what is.

I CrackBerry almost 100% on CB10 so I hardly ever see my signature! Yeah, knew that, need to change it, was from early 2012 anyway. I'm all Drop'n and Box'n and EvNote'n now anyway!

PlayBook + BOX = 50GB of free data, glad I got it then, but enough with derailling this thread lol...
