Two photos: Minion rush showing on the folder, inside it shows it's gone. I deleted the app, but it still displays on my Games folder. Something is telling me the app is still on my phone, when I thought I threw it away.

Is there a proper way to delete Applications?

Have you tried a restart? It appears that the thumbnail failed to refresh. Hold both volume buttons in and hold it for around six seconds until the screen goes dark and the phone performs a full reset.

A possible alternative is to move another app into the folder and then move it out. This might give the thumbnail generator a kick in the pants.
