    I am a new user and somehow accidently deleted the SMS icon and it does not apper in the applictions list....any suggestions?

    Go to messages>options>general options>sms and email inboxes: seperate that should bring it back...

    i have the same problem too. My sms icon has disappeared. Nothing is working for me. I tried "show all" as well as changed the sms and email options to "separate". But my sms icon is still missing. Any ideas about what i should do now?

    Just a shot in the dark here but maybe it'll work - after making sure you have separated SMS from Messages, you might try a battery pull.

    Also, check in the folders (especially Documents to Go and Applications).
