If you have Desktop Manager installed, open it, go to application loader put a check in the box for Attachment Service and "next" your way through.

If you don't have DM you can get it here

I have the DM but I don't have the handheld version. I use KPN and it's the new v4.3.0.93. I have found it on one site but after 18% it gives a error.

You just need to keep attempting the download.

Hopefully, you have found it at BlackBerrys Device download site. That is the only valid source of software.

You mention 18%, is about 20 MB of data. Could there be downloading limits from your ISP?

Simple enough to tell for sure, try downloading a video clip larger the 20 Mb. If that fails, you may have a throttled connection.

I have just checked the 81xx forum, Latest 8110 OS: Bharti 4.3.0.164/4.3.0.93 (Multilanguage) is the latest OS for the 8110.

If you are still having trouble, you might consider stepping back a little. If your device shipped with v4.2 software, go to your carrier and get their recommended version.

That is very frustrating, but good to know you have ruled out ISP limitations.

The most common reason you will get a failure is a time out during the download. If the connection takes too long to respond, it will be shut down. That is more likely to happen if you have chosen the "Install" button.

Start your download with the "Save" button. After you have a copy on your computer, "Run" it from your local copy.

Did you the carriers CD package? It will contain a copy of Desktop Manager that can be installed directly.

You will still need a copy of your device software,
