Is this a defect on my 8830?

Hello All,

I am a total balckberry newbie so thank you in advance for the questions I am asking.

Two items:

There is a "seperation" line present at the top of my homescreen. The line is in the LCD background (even when I change the picture). It's very faint but I don't want to be stuck with a defective phone for the duration of my contract.

Also the hour glass appears quite often when using my new 8830. After I hang up phone calls or sometimes hit the application "hard button". Is this normal?

I would definately call Sprint. Whether your within your 30 days or you have insurance, I would exchange the phone.

I haven't experienced any of those issues with my 8830 and I have a ton of 3rd party apps. loaded.
