I know most people have asked this question but i just want to be sure since i just set up a new plan with my phone.

i have 500mb of data per month.
i do browsing on just html sites with a little java, but no video streaming.
i have my email on it
    occasionally use msn messenger
    and sometimes use google maps.

do you think 500mb will be enough?

I see you have a Bold... that's like owning a Ferrari and only having 15 liters of fuel per month for it.

Well, at least it still looks good. Even if you can't drive it much.

If you can afford it, absolutely get unlimited data. This eliminates the possibility of overages.

It should be enough. I'm on the web daily, and push Email. I average about 80 MB a month.

Knock it off. The OP is in Canada. Rogers from what I understand does not
offer an unlimited plan. Nothing they can do about it.

To the OP: 500mb is a good amount as long as you don't tether (use BB as a
modem for a laptop). You can monitor your usage with MyBoxtone

Correct. As ag stated, canadian carriers don't offer unlimited data. I could not see what carrier the op has as I'm on wap.

(Hangs head)... to turbo2g2003, my apologies.

And to AG, thanks for the well deserved chastising. I didn't know that Rogers doesn't have the unlimited data plan option.

More than enough. I browsed every day for my first month on my Bold, as well as push email, some BB maps, bit of google maps and IM, and only managed to hit 32MB for the month!
