    Hi There,

I have been using the 8703 bb for quite some time now and I need to upgrade. I am having a hard time deciding on weather to go with the Curve or the World Edition 8830.

I was hoping to get some peoples opinions on both. Any info on either phone would be appreciated.

    Thanks

Had both... Unless you're a world traveler I'd go with the Curve... more memory and a camera, otherwise they're pretty darn close.

The Curve because at least it's more media friendly. World Edition doesn't even have MMS.

On Bell, the Curve 8330 has 50% more memory than the 8830WE. So, as other posts have mentioned, unless you need the world traveling functionality I'd go with the 8330. It's also a little smaller.

With that choice I'd go Curve, but as a Storm lover (and former 8700 user) I would also recommend you try that one especially if you like media. And of course lets not forget the Bold.

the curve does alot more fun things, media and music and such...unless you need an international phone, I'd def do the curve. I upgraded from the w.e. over a year ago and enjoy the curve much more! I love having a blackberry with a camera and access to the music store....yay...weeeee

as said in ALL the above posts.... the CURVE.. because it is just a way better phone. and trust me... you can't get anything on an 8830 and still have messages and call logs kept. i had the 8830 and had nothing but problems with the memory on the thing. thankfully i was able to get a Curve and have no problems what-so-ever with it.
