I just saw that. I didn't know there were new Curves. I had an 8320 that was horrible.
So I guess it would all depend on which Curve and Bold he/she is looking at.
Sorry for the confusion.

I had the Bold 9930 with Sprint. Loved it. Now I have the Bold 9900 with ATT only because they basically gave me money to come over and lowered my monthly cost. Anyway, I never even looked at the curve but if you are talking the 9360 I would say it is pretty awesome as well.
I would not get any BB that does not support OS7. The gap is so large it seems they are not even the same company at times. I came back to BB for a Torch 9800 but even that is so much less than the new OS7 BB's that I would just go for one of them.
The Curve 9360 does not have the specs of the Bold but don't count it out. I was just using endomondo for sport tracking and the smaller Curve would be nice. In fact, since the Curve 9360 has FM radio (no data charge) and is fast enough for anything I want to do with it I would not write it off at all.
If I had to do it all over again I would take a good look at the Curve 9360 or equivalent. Seriously, at a time when everyone is going bigger, this little guy is just doing its thing and fits easy in your pocket. It is also built like a tank.
Best I can suggest is to try them both and decide which one fits your needs best.
Good luck.

My mother uses a 9330. All she cares about are phone calls and emails. Perfectly great for that. And a tough little phone as well. Yeah maybe the EVDO modem is garbage but you'd never know it on Verizon. She basically has service everywhere. So who cares?
The Bold is the premium BlackBerry. Better in every way except the price you pay -- lol. - 07-12-2012, 10:07 AM #17
I found a pretty decent deal for the new Bold 9930, I was thinking as a 1st time user it maybe too much, but also it would be a fun experience to learn the layout? It is almost the same price if I were to spend on the Curve 9350 (weird I know) should I go for the Bold?
Thanks
