Does anyone know if there is a way to make up a play list on the BB. It seems the only option is to upload music files into the music folder and the BB automatically sorts it for you.

so far, I have found no way to do it straight from the phone, i've had to use the software

Creating playlists on the phone is supposed to be in OS4.3. Until then, you can either use the Roxio media manager or your favorite other media player. If you build the playlist referencing the files on the device, the pathnames in the playlist should work fine.

i've made playlists straight from my phone... it's kind of a pain, but go into media>music>all songs>(select a song)>menu button>add to playlist. you'll be prompted to name the playlist (or add it to an existing one)...
