Is the cursor dead?
With smartphones and the OSs becoming more and more prevalent what do people think will happen to the cursor?
We know the PB OS can handle a cursor, and I've seen jailbroken iOS do the same but do people think the cursor is going to be around in the future or will we be stuck with our fat fingers? or will trackpads make a come back? or will there be some new way of input? I know I hate the trackpad on my laptop and much prefer using a wireless mouse. Having used a 9900 after an iphone I found it must less frusterating to select areas on the screen instead of jabbing away until I hit what I wanted. Are people happy with full-touch? Is it enough?
My simple quesiton is do people think the cursor is dead?BB10: possibly the most disruptive innovation in tech we've yet to see.
RIM is on their way to 'coming-back', although I don't see it as a comeback. I see it as RIM going through a well-managed transition.- hurds (11/4/12) reply: "one of the craziest, most delusional fanboy statements I've ever seen on the Internet. I had to vote yes, I think it will be phased out. I will miss it though, I love the cursor on my BB when web browsing.
In RIM we trust!
