My Z10's screen is cracked from about the middle up and it has no touch. For anyone that had their Z10 cracked, did that happen to you? I'm curious as to whether it's the screen only or more than just the screen.

Yes....lost function on half screen, then all.......took in to get fixed. .good as new

That's normal - the digitizer and glass are fused together on the Z10. If you shatter the glass, your phone looses touch sensitivity.

You can still back up the phone, which is the critical point.

I've busted two Z10 screens, backed 'em up, received warranty replacements then restore, all in 24-48 hours with no issues.

Easy fix if you a bit technical. Screens are pretty cheap.

One thing to be careful of is too make sure you get the version number off the screen when you take it apart there is three different versions and if you don't have the right one it won't connect to the motherboard
