I used to spend my days getting yelled at by my wife to stay off my Blackberry Curve while I was at home........However, my wife works part time from home and I talked her into getting a Blackberry Pearl........I now can use my Curve guilt free at home because she is on her Blackberry more than I am. She has officially become "addicted" to her "Crackberry".........life is grand.
Google maps latest version (2.1) is my latest rave.
I was about to get a GPS add-on to my BB 8700 since I'm too cheap to go with the latest generation. Google has a triangulation to find your current location. Accurate, no but useful - yes!
for me...being at UCSD..everyone has a blackberry...all the surgeons...but I would LOVE to be the first to get the blackberry bold!!!! show'in it off...having the docs drewl gotta have it! PLEEZZEE
on my 8320 what I love most is the WiFi feature it rocks. T-Mobile you are the best.
i hope I win cause my son's birthday is coming up and he could use/love a BB.
I'm still learning my Blackberry 8830 but looking forward to seeing the reviews for the new models on crackberry. You guys rock with sneak peeks at the latest greatest.
Kevin et al,
The KickStart is the BB I'm waiting for as a personal phone. The IT geeks can hand me what they want for a company phone, but I like a flip phone for personal use. If I could get it on ATT/Cingular, that would be icing on the cake - I would be willing to wait for that.
The ability to edit documents on the go is the most exciting feature that is on the latest OS upgrade. I've spent too much time on the phone with a colleague having the "ok, look down one line, change the 'I' to a 'we' . . ." conversation. The ability to show track changes would be even better, but that may be too much to ask for a screen the size of a Post-It note.
One bit of functionality I would like to see in future BBs would be a menu item in the Inbox to allow conversion of an e-mail to a task or calendar item. I know RIM filed a patent app for this last year and that some 3rd party apps have it, but it would be nice in the operating system - OS 4.6 (dream on) . . .
Anyway, thanks for the chance to enter the drawing and for keeping all us "crackberry" addicts up to date. You folks do a great job . . .
I'm a former Treo 700w user of 2 1/2 years, and after 1 day of using my 8330, I decided that my BlackBerry was way better. I was in the dark, but know I see the light....
I'm amazed at the growth rate of RIM. When I got my 8100 for the price of renewing tmo service at wallmart. I had no idea. My thumb will never be normal again.
