    So what to do.

I wanted to take a look at the z30 but no store near me (uk, wirral) has them in stock.

I love the messaging and web browser on my z10, but limited on some apps like nowtv.

I have started to look at the sony z2, but not sure if I could go back to android again, as I like the way bb10 works.

Once you used bb10 for a few days you can see how much better the os is then anything out there. I dont want to keep pressing a home buttom and want really multi-tasking. I suppose the windows phones are the closest to bb10.

Any idears, or where I could try a z30 phone.

find reviews on internet, watch 3D view, etc. Its just like Z10, just on steroids. You will like the build quality
    otherwise

I just got a note 3 last night for a warranty replacement on my galaxy s2. I own a z10 and its my daily driver. after using the note 3 for a bit i just realised its still JUST android but with a big screen. took the sim card out of the note and popped it back into my z10. BBOS 10 is just so much better than android's cumbersome workflow.

Chen needs to continue pushing out touchscreen BBOS10 devices.

If you've enjoyed the Z10 that much, I will give you my personal guarantee that the Z30 is a worthwhile upgrade.

If it makes you feel any better, I got mine sight-unseen when they launched. I'm pretty sure I had the first one in town (the store hadn't even properly received it yet). So I've had it since last fall, and if I have to wait another year for a new high-end touch handset, it's no hardship.

If you had a Z10... you should know what the Z30 will be like, same OS. Just with a bigger display (and better battery life).

So the question really is what is more important to you... the Apps or the HUB.

Sounds more like you need to try a Window Phone and maybe a newer Android to get a feel for how they differ from your experience with the Z10.

    Scale master I agree

But I think androids are all pretty much the same, with just tweeks.

I tried the s5 at the weekend and was not impressed.

Microsoft is the same issue with apps

Maybe its time to get rid of the playbook and and get an android tablet for watching tv.

Whats the camera like on the z30

No,upgrade to the z30, it's not just the hub that makes bb10 so much better than other OSes... you have an amazing fluid os and a better multitasking and a great battery life what would you want more than that?

Or like me I went Q10SQN100-3/10.2.1.2758. I feel so at home with BlackBerry 10 OS, so quick! And yeah my note 3 is still here. Using it for hangouts and credit card processing

You won't find a better smartphone than the Z30. And I am not talking about 'specs', but about usability! Big screen, BIG BATTERY, Usb Host, every kind of connection(hdmi,miracast...), the better OS nowaday.. It is phenomenal and it is big enough for watching tv/movies..
Winphones are a joke. Except for the camera maybe, even if I am not buying a smartphone for its camera. It has to be good enough and that's exactly what you get with a 30...

If you go for WinPhone, the Lumia 1520 is huge but loverleeeee.

I have it on EE, 20GB/month too... works great, battery lasts all day, and HD screen is gorgeous!

If you decide on the Z30, and order one online, be careful to get one that'll work in the UK. I may be wrong here, but I believe different regions use different LTE bands.

Camera is same as z10(8MP)but there are features like usb otg(connect mouse or game controller). Also battery is high and Speakers are better and louder than HTC One(M7).4 microphones compared to 2 on z10.Also Z30 has Paratek antennas unlike Z10 which ensures you get signal even in Areas where you have signal outage

Probably like the xfinity app and will open but disappear as soon as you try to watch something.

Have no problem getting one online.. just really unsure if I cant see it before hand.

Would you buy a car without a test drive

I think the main issues are

    1.size and how it feels
    2. Will the size be an issue in my pocket
    3. Camera, how much will I use it, or do a need a phone with a better camera.
    4 app development going forward

This is an issue when you can't test drive one. I wonder if enterprise customers get to try them before they buy them.

The Z30 is a little heavy, but I like the weight. I think it is a great device.

My only gripe is the display is not very easily readable with a bright sun. Too dim.
