Hey Folks

might be a dumb request here ....but oh well.

I am taking an old BB travelling to the UK (9700) and want to take my contacts from my Z10 (bbm and text) and import them into the 9700.
For the sake of a short trip I will be only using it as a very basic communication tool (bbm and text only), I don't want to run the risk of getting it stolen or lose it.......so the z10 will stay at home.

I can't seem to find out how to do this transfer (z10 TO 9700)....or if it can be done.

any pearls of wisdom out there?

Well for BBM, just put your BBID on to the 9700.
You could try BBLink to backup the Z10 and then restore to the 9700?

or DTM backup or BB Link backup from z10 restoring thus to 9700 (gooood gooood device !!!)
but it is more simple with bb protect , it restores everything

You can also blue tooth the contacts from one phone to the other. Just make sure you have some time to do it, the transfer will take some time especially if you have a lot of contacts
