Compare Rogers plans in Canada
- Rogers called me with an offer if I renew for 3yrs early (due in 6 mos).
I'd love some feedback from anyone if this sounds like a good deal or not?
-300 Minutes peak daytime $55
-Unlimited eve/wkd starts 6pm
-1 gb data
-My 10 Canada wide (can be cell #'s or landlines)
-Voicemail, Call ID, Call Display value pack $12
-Unlimited incoming calls $10
Cost is $77 plus taxes and $2.00 recovery fee.
They also said I can buy a 9900 for $199 or a 9780 for $50.
Thanks in advance for any feedback.09-16-11 06:58 PMLike 0 - Sorry hit the wrong key and the message was sent before I had finished.
In short Telus shared business rates are less expensive but network signal seem a lot weaker and data transfer rate slower (I use tethering a lot).
Contrary than with Rogers, since I am with Telus I have been unable to send emails using BIS if I have a weak or no voice signal even if I do have a strong Wifi signal a can access the Internet with my BB.
You have to balance price against quality ... it depends on what YOU need.
For me it is still too early to say if I am going to like the change over from Rogers to Telus ... our decision was based on price ...KodyShadow likes this.09-16-11 07:52 PMLike 1 - Rogers called me with an offer if I renew for 3yrs early (due in 6 mos).

Don't think that plan is good at all
Call Rogers and Ask for
Unltd Voice & Text Plan for $45
Unlimited Canadian LD for $10
That gives you Unlimited Calling in All of Canada 24/7 for $55 as well as Unlimited txt messages
Once you have that you can pick your data package
of which you can pick what is best for you09-16-11 08:34 PMLike 0 - telus offered me the same plan but instead of my 10 i was offered my 5 fav. still i believe they are not competing with wind and other providers which i doubt. i would suggest wait until december as that is the best time when there are more promotions. goodluck09-16-11 10:08 PMLike 0
- No don't accept that plan. Call the Rogers customer relations department (retention), you'll more likely to get a better plan from them.
I currently have
200 daytime
Unl E/WE @ 6pm
6GB data
Call Display
500 text messages
for $50+ taxes
Not the greatest compared to what others but this plan suits me perfectly for the time being.
