Is there a way so that 8310 can change time when traveling to different time zones? I had a Samsung flip phone that changed time and appointments based on your current time zone.

What about my BlackBerry?

I downloaded the free version of WorldMate Live and used it for the business trip that I am currently on and as soon as I got to my destination it asked me if I wanted it to update my time to the local time and it did.
Hopefully it will do the ame when I get home tonight.

Ps. It actually is a pretty nice program to have when traveling!

If you have your BB set to use the network time it should change back when you get back home.

Do you have a link to World Mate Live? Did it adjust your calendar as well?

I remember when the network time and bb time were off, now they are the same.

Actually, BlackBerry OS DOES support automatic time updates... It just doesn't work!

Menu-->Options-->Date/Time-->Date/Time Source-->Network.


The fact that it's a "standard" mobile phone feature, and the fact that it's supported but doesn't work is one of the biggest gripes I have with BlackBerry OS...
