And yes if you hold the phone faced down and push/roll the track ball around it free's up any loose debris, but there's nothing like taking it out to clean it, or just straight up replacing it with a new one...
I never clean my balls...................................
They are so cheap and easy to replace on my 8310 I dont even clean em anymore. Move funny, get to dirty? - I just pitch em and replace.
How difficult is cleaning the 8330 trackball I am new to BB and also scared if some thing goes wrong, its been 5 months I have bought this BB and never cleaned it.

I'm not trying to be too pervy with this topic, but some people don't realize that some of the problems with their berries can be from the tracball getting dirty, and the whole phone being dirty causes lots of problems.

I remember YEARS ago reading a document that came from IBM on instructions for cleaning mouse balls (original 5120 PC). It was a hilarious read when taking it out of context.
O_X I certainly hope it makes the difference. I have an 8100 total housing on the way from a guy on eBay - the guy that had this BB before me was a total pig (bought the 8100 off craigslist) and my trackball is yellow. ICK. O_O (at least the yellow on BlingBall shows up properly, lmao)
Lol goodness my mind went straight inside the gutter. Of course clean balls make a difference in a blackberry. Clean balls is a must in other areas lol. Love the title of this thread
