it means u have sumthing u need to update, probably BB app world, go to ur messages icon and see there
I believe that means your gps is active. Have you put on a new theme or possibly change something in "options"? My girlfriend put the polar express theme on her phone and we noticed it and searched the forum to find what the icon meant.

Sounds like GPS icon to me.
why does it come on? I've got the 8310 with GPS obviously but have yet to see that icon. Doesn't show up in the camera when I have it set to on either.
what does this icon mean? how do i turn it off? thanks!
