I have a BB on Vodafone in the UK and going to Canada shortly.

Which would be the cheapest way to keep in touch with someone in the UK with a BB and also someone in the UK.

    1. text
    2. email from BB
    3. BB messenger ?

Also, which is the cheapest provider in Canada.

    Any help would be great

It's a BB Storm by the way so no Wifi when in the hotel etc.

    Thanks

From your question about asking for cheapest provider in canada, I assume you will sighning up with a Canadian provider. (Otherwise, international data plan with your Vodafone will be prohibitedly expense).

    So given that.

If you will have a unlimited data plan, option 2 and 3 have no additional cost. #1 will require 'texting ie sms' plan with your canadian provider.

Don't Vodafone have that 'Passport' option when abroad, I think you pay something like 75p per call then you use your allowances just like you'd have in the UK, ie 500 free mins etc, not sure about data, best call them

Thanks. I'll be staying on vodafone and there for 3 weeks.

Vodafone passport doesn't include canada. I called them and asked the question but thr guy I spoke to had no idea.

    Hence the question on here.
