I have a Curve 8520, when the charger lead is plugged into my device, a sound is heard, and when the lead is pulled out a sound is also heard. No problem !!!

My partner has the exact same model and OS 5 as mine, but no sound is heard when the charger lead is plugged in/removed.

Any idea's ???

You need to turn on event sounds under Accessibility Options, its in the options screens somewhere, can't remember off the top of my head.
