Charger blackberry 10 devices

Hi all,

I've set my mind on buying a blackberry 10 device. Will i be able to use the charger from my curve 8900 or could I use the charger from my bold 9900? Maybe I shouldn't use either and buy an original second charger for a blackberry 10 device. Advise anyone?

Well, the charger port will be microUSB, so the answer works out to a yes. BlackBerry has, in general, tried to make charging as easy as possible, and can handle charging from a variety of sources. The current crop can be picky about lower amperage charging, though. I'd expect the same as things progress. Modern smartphones need some serious juice, and I'd be curious to see if they issue a 1A charger that some devices have received, lately.

I think the OP understands this, and is questioning the need to get additional chargers for other places they need to charge. I definitely have more than one charging solution, just in my truck. That my apartment has several is a given.

I agree. I have been wondering the same thing myself. I have a charger for my car and another one for travelling. And a bluetooth earpiece. Hoping that they all work on my new BB10.
