So I am in the process of replacing my Storm (sigh) its still under warranty however i'm Having issues so telus is replacing the phone....I know i will get a new PIN # and I will have to re add all of my BBm contacts however what do i do with all of my apps? How do i transfer all of them to my new phone? Sorry if its a silly question..my first thought was i can do a back up..but i'm not sure that will work..because they were purchased with my current PIN #?? Can anyone help?
I was able to transfer apps purchased in BB app world to a new device by using the app world 'log in' feature. Other apps i needed to contact the vendor for a new serial...
as lak said you wont have to re do your contacts but as far as the apps go it all depends on where you purchased them from if you purchased them from crackberry you can log into your mobi hand account and change the pin there... each company does it differently
