I have had my BB Curve 8330 for a couple weeks now under the BB Personal Data Plan. I just got the OK at work to switch to the Corporate plan. I�m curious about how that will change my BB. My main concern is the contacts. For the majority of the time I would like easy access to my current personal contacts without mixing them in with hundreds of my business contacts. Is there an easy way to achieve this? My personal e-mail is on Gmail so I can use the Gmail client (which I do now anyway).
I found out that my personal contacts will be merged with my business contact. Oh well. I guess I could put a 0 or something in front of my personal contacts so they sort first.
Is your corporate plan a BES? If so, the changes to your BlackBerry will be much more significant than just merging your contacts. If you don't know, ask the corporate guy who's handling the merge. He should be able to tell you. And you'll have to activate on the Enterprise, so you'll know you did it.
