Okay Guys...here's one to get your teeth into...

I have recently purchased a Blackberry 8800 of flea bay, unfortunately locked to Orange UK, however that is currently being unlocked for me. So the plan is to use my BB Vodafone company SIM in my new blackberry, we have a BES at head office.

Now my only concerns are....once the phone is unlocked will i have any more config problems with my Vodafone UK chip and corporate BES?? More importantly how do i get the device unregistered from orange UK BIS, so i can set up Vodafone BIS to receive my additional POP3 email through the same device, as well as BES corporate mail?

Orange UK would not even release the remote IMEI unlock code unless i had an existing tariff/contract with them, so had to source through unlocking website. Am i going to have further problems with re-registering the PIN and IMEI with Vodafone BIS? Anybody been in the same boat?

Or did you all choose the sensible option of buying an unlocked BB? lol

This really isn't as simple as it once seemed.
