I have an unlocked storm. When I put my sim card in from AT&T everything works fine, except when I go to make calls, there's a display "My number: xxx-xxx-xxxx". This show the previous number and not mine. Is there a way to change this feature? Please advise.
    Thanks
    Tom

When you're in the call screen, hit the BB button and go to General Options.

There should be a setting called, "Show My Number." Set that to 'NO'.

If you want to change the number that is stored on your SIM Card, go to:

Settings>Options>Advanced Options>SIM Card>Highlight the Phone Number and select Edit SIM Phone Number.

Thanks for the reply. I did that but somehow the storm doesn't have that option. Could it be somewhere else?

Which option? The option to hide your number or change the number on the SIM?

Hit the green button to display call log. Menu / options / General Options / Restrict Identity. Remember to save.

i tried this ##000000 but it did not work on my phone but played around and found if you type in #111111 it worked maybe because my phone is newer?
