I just noticed that the CBC Sochi 2014 App is available now for iOS, Android and even Windows Phone 8. It sucks that they left BB10 users out in the cold. I get why there are iOS and Android apps but Windows Phone 8? Are you kidding me? How many Windows Phone 8 users are there in Canada compared to BlackBerry 10? CBC has a native CBC News App and HNIC app for BB10 so I was a bit surprised to not see a Sochi 2014 app from them. It would be nice to watch Olympic coverage from my Z10. It looks like I will have to grab the Android APK for now .

Factor those in with WP and you've got a substantial market share.

You'd better believe it! Microsoft isn't stupid, and by consolidating all of their hardware lines (PCs, phones, XBox) to the same base code, they create a huge ecosystem that can't be ignored. BB has no such ecosystem backing up their phones.

CBC has been a great BB10 supporter to date. As well as the 2 mentioned above, there is also CBC Music which is great.
