cant get preloaded pics to delete

whats up fellas.... been tinkering with my 8703e and began to optimize ram close to 37mb free.

i followed the steps of deleting the vendor.xml ? and then went ahead in the java folder----> created new folder and added several files including

net_rim_bb_media_320x240.cod
net_rim_bb_media_tunebundles_qualcomm.cod

question is i dont have the "b" on the end of my files and when i run the DM app loader it removes them but when i go into my media and preloaded pics they are alll still there what am i doing wrong?
