Just got a 8830 off eBay, haven't activated yet, but I can't find the browser or BBMaps. Browser is in my switch applications, and when I unhide all they are both still not to be found. Do you think that I won't find them until I activate since they both require data?

4.2 is the official release for verzion. when u activate it if you resend your service books and register the handset the browser should show up.

as to hte maps not showing up it seems to me that it was deleted on install of the os.

Load DM and BB OS om pc and try using app loader to load BBMaps

the thing that frustrates me is that both are listed in Applications under options, but not on my apps menu.
