Can you HIDE the 1st or 2nd row of Icons on the main screen??
Okay people check this out.On the main screen it only shows you 2 rows of 4 icons. But since i have a nice background going , i want my background to show more then this 2 rows of icons.I tride to hide one icon to see if it would only show 7 icons instead of 8 icons on the main screen and what happend was that, the icon that i hide was replaced by another icon.so does that means its IMPOSSIBLE??? i would like my main screen just to show one row of 4 so my background can show more.

Home screens are theme related. Most everything you see is theme related. Change your theme and you will see different things. I am speaking of "original themes that came with the phone"
Those you download are for the most part configurable or more configurable. Not all that sure of the storm's themes but try to go to options>theme and choose another one........ - 02-05-2009, 12:02 AM #3
...Storm only has one theme at this point. To get your rows down to 1 set hit your blackberry button, hit it again, go to options and you'll see the option for just one row of icons.

no its not a theme.But to tell you the truth.When i went to options>theme i see this theme named " precision zen" and it says (active) and on the bottome it shows you how it should look like which is this image of lightning. so i click on it or press menu and there is nowhere where it says that i can use that as my theme. how come?what was the point of being there in 1st place then?? can i download cool themes for this BBS? if so...HOW?

Okay since you guys seem to have this BBS for a while just for the heads up im a beginner because i got it today so tell me "snowgimp" what is the BBS BUTTON? WHERE IS IT? I FEEL STUPID NOW.....is that the menu button??? or just by tapping the center of the BBS???

From your home screen hitting it once will bring up all your icons, hitting it again will bring up a full menu then you can select options and go from there. "snowgimp" YOU ROCK!!! Not going to lie but you did a **** of a lot better on the instructions this time around to get to that option part of the rows. THIS AWESOME.now i have only one ROW.exactly what i needed. THANKS ALOT "snowgimp" you are really the god of BBS.
