When I lose a call there is an aggravating alert sound. Is there any way of changing that? Too loud and annoying, thanks.

No, it can't be changed. lol

You shouldn't have that many lost calls. Dial *22899 Send and wait for it to OTA update. See if your reception doesn't improve after that.

Any new info on this front?

It's extremely annoying, and even occurs when the sound is on "silent" or "vibrate"

    Thanks

for those of us that are not lucky enough to be in perfect coverage areas we have to deal with this sound some times 25 + times a day I use a blue parrot headset it has a actual speaker and when this comes on i have to rip it off my head or i fear i will go deaf or at least get a tumor need to change this asap shut it off would be good it sits in a cradle so i can see when i loose a call I don't need a deafening sound to tell me i have lost one come on blackbery get you program together
